As a lifestyle newborn photographer I have been to a ton of beautiful homes and they all bring their own unique style. When I pulled up to this sweet little cottage in Martinez, I immediately fell in love, from the cobblestone walkway to the huge bay window, and the beautiful blooming gardenia bush, there was no doubt, I was in love. When I stepped into their beautiful space I received a beautiful sense of calm, and all mommas can relate, there is not much calm in the first few months of newborns life. am. i. right???
It was so warm and welcoming, every piece of furniture, art or beautiful houseplant was thought out and perfectly placed. Even on a gloomy day this home brought its own warm light. I fully enjoyed every second with this sweet family and I cannot wait to grow with them!
After their session I started to rethink how we live in our own home, how could we utilize the space in our small home. It was eye opening! Now I am redesigning our space and I have to say it already feels more homey and comfortable! I cannot wait to share more from my DIY projects in future, stay tuned!
