A photographer isn’t someone that shows up to click a camera and then their job is done. It goes further than that, there’s the scheduling and the prepping for the session. There’s the actual session. There’s the post session, the culling (sorting of images), the editing, and the delivery of images. Most the time there’s multiple sessions a photographer is working on at any given point in time. And then of course there’s the personal life of the photographer, whatever that may be. When you’re self employed, as most photographers are, true and through entrepreneurs, there is no time clock that you punch in and out of. Most of the time your work and personal life blend together and it’s hard to separate the two. I’ve been pretty quiet lately and it’s not because I haven’t been working. So here’s a little bit of what I’ve been working on…
this gorgeous elopement in Caramel, California, Uhm, check out her ruedeseine dress guys. G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S right?! This couple, this location, show stopping.
This maternity session covered in that golden light in the Brentwood, California wheat fields.
Personal time with my family at Don Pedro, where we played in the sun with over 40 of our coolest friends and we only had 2 kiddos including mine make a trip to the ER.
While I wrap up the editing on these sessions and take a couple weeks off to prepare for my busy summer, I am really looking forward to a San Francisco Lifestyle session and a Mount Diablo Wedding.. It’s busy but a good busy if you know what I’m saying, plus I get to love on all of these wonderful families and make beautiful art yay!
xoxo,
Diana
